I appreciate that authorised SGN works are taking place on Copse Hill. However, on 27 August, High Cedar Drive was completely blocked for approximately 40 minutes without prior notice, leaving residents unable to enter or leave the street. Please confirm whether the complete obstruction of High Cedar Drive was authorised under the relevant permit/traffic-management plan and, if not, investigate the contractor’s actions. I am particularly concerned about how emergency vehicle access would have been maintained.

If we decide it’s an emergency we will make it safe within 4 hours following the inspection. If it is not dangerous, we will resolve it within 28 days following the inspection.
