Parking on pavement not safe for children at school

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on a Road or Pavement category by Georgia Kirby at 16:20, Wed 10 January 2024

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1050293-Z8R3S3.

There have been new flats constructed behind All Saints' CofE Primary School. Children come and go from these gates and are having to walk on the road because there is no space to safely walk on the pavement. This includes when we walk to the tube station with classes. Cars are always parked badly there and numerous notes have been put on cars. Emergency service vehicles will not fit through the space because of this which is not safe for our school.

  • The parking sitution has become worse, The children cannot walk safely on the pavement. Cars are parking between the school safety poles. Cars cannot drive safely into the carpark as you cannot get through between the parked cars.
