Neglected tree outside 4 and 6 Crossway
Reported via mobile in the Litter or Weeds on a Street category anonymously at 19:01, Wed 17 January 2024
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1052708-Q9Q6T9.
The council planted the tree several years ago but has failed to maintain it. It has low level branches and sub trunks sprouting out of its main trunk and needs to be cut back to allow it to grow properly without creating potential hazards to pedestrians using the pavement. It has wire protection around it and so cannot be accessed and maintained by residents.
