Haydon Park Rd 107/109 -Broken paving slabs reported 24 June still not fixed
Reported via mobile in the Damaged Footway category anonymously at 14:56, Friday 26 July 2024
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1130553-T7L4J6.
The marked slabs in the photo were reported on 24 June. A Council officer came a week or so later and marked them up. He/she also marked up two (unreported and less dangerous) damaged slabs that were in the position now occupied by the new & pale replacement slabs that can be seen in the photo further up the pavement by the yellow wall. Those two unreported slabs were replaced about a week after the council inspection. The more damaged ones actually reported have not been repaired. It' s over a month, and the situation remains as described in the original report (copy below). Grateful if you would expedite the repair. Thank you.
"Three broken paving stones, including one wobbling, on pavement outside 107 and 109 Haydon Park Road. Wobbly one protrudes approx. 2 cms. Immediate residents include senior citizen who uses a walker and so this is a significant obstacle and danger for them. In addition, there are many local young children who run up and down especially when going to and from nursery & school, for whom this is a difficult to see trip hazard."
