I reently fell badly outside my own home exiting my parked vehicle due to severly raised tree roots that have buckled the pavement and are causing major trip hazard.

Reported via desktop in the Other Footway or Footpath Issue category by Elaine Susan Alison Halligan at 18:24, Wednesday 18 September 2024

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1148250-N1P5M2.

The tree roots are now impacting on the pavement to such an extent we are unable to open our car door and recently I had a nasty fall right outside my home due to the roots being a trip hazard.

This is not a new issue and has been in existence for many years, but recently has become more urgent. The tree roots have now completely distorted the pavement which has now raised by about 3 inches!

This is a public liability issue now and needs to be dealt with urgently.
