Fixed
Markings worn away
Reported via desktop in the Markings category anonymously at 13:04, Mon 7 October 2024
Sent to Merton Council 1 minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1153467-R4Y7L8.
Both white and yellow lines in front of my house were painted in March 2022 and paid for as part of my dropped kerb installation. They have both substantially deteriorated and the yellow line is almost entirely gone. After just 2.5 years something was clearly not done properly with the original job. Please arrange to have these repainted.

Thank you for reporting this. One of our highways officers will inspect the defect. If it meets our repair criteria, we'll get our contractor to repair it.

7 months later this has been changed to 'fixed' and yet it has not been fixed.

The problem has not been fixed. Saying "The problem has been fixed" does not make it so. I am looking out of my window at the markings right now. They're barely visible. This must be some strange and new definition of 'fixed' of which I was previously unaware.

Do you think perhaps you might be wrong about that?

This problem has not been fixed. I'm filing a formal complaint to the council about this interaction. You are publicly lying about the situation.
