Large lorries driving and parking on road regularly which is damaging the road and pavement and causing congestion

Reported via mobile in the Other Roads or Carriageway issue category anonymously at 13:27, Friday 11 October 2024

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1154830-F1V7K2.

Every Friday large buses drive down this road and park here. As shown by the sign there is a limit of 7.5 tonnes, these buses look much larger than that and they have caused damage to the pavement, as shown in the image. These buses are contracted by Kings College School for pick up and drop off of children. The buses park up and wait for hours, often with their engines running. This is an issue along all of Clifton Road, but they often park outside number 24 and I have noticed the pavement is particularly bad here.
