The grass verge in this location has continually been used for vehicle parking or passing This year, following recent gas works, the area is particularly soft and vulnerable and is now so badly damaged it resembles the Somme battlefield. It not only suggests residents lack pride in their neighbourhood but pedestrians have slipped on the mud and carried it in on their shoes. It is an appalling state and really requires bollards to dissuade thoughtless drivers
