Large potholes, cracks, uneven surface and is bumpy

Reported via mobile in the Potholes and Surface Problems category anonymously at 13:50, Mon 30 December 2024

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1176187-F5Z6P0.

I am writing to report an urgent issue regarding the condition of a part of the road at Greyhound Terrace; the part in front of house numbers 18, 17, 11, 12, 13, 16 leading to bus stop VH.

The road has deteriorated significantly, with large potholes, cracks, uneven surface and is bumpy. This is causing serious concerns for both the safety of drivers and pedestrians. In particular, I ride my bike in the mornings and nearly had an accident while trying to avoid large potholes, cracks, and the uneven surface. My friend, who was visiting me with his child in the back seat of his car, also had an issue with the condition of the road, which nearly caused his baby to hit the car seat.

Given the severity of the situation, I kindly request that the council prioritize this issue and arrange for an inspection and necessary repairs as soon as possible. It would be greatly appreciated if you could update me on the timeline for addressing this matter.

Please see the attached photos showing the state of the part of the road which I am referring to.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent road condition report.
