Dunster Avenue needs attention

Reported in the Litter or Weeds on a Street category anonymously at 19:58, Tuesday 14 January 2025

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1180771-C3K6Q2.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing on behalf of the residents of Dunster Avenue to express our concerns regarding the lack of street sweeping and waste management in the area over the recent Christmas period and continuing beyond.

It has become apparent that the road has not been adequately maintained, with litter and debris accumulating along the street, giving the area a run-down and neglected appearance. Many residents have observed this issue and are increasingly concerned about the general upkeep of the road.

Additionally, there are no waste bins provided in the vicinity, which results in residents' rubbish being left to accumulate on the road, exacerbating the problem of littering. This lack of facilities is contributing to an untidy environment and further deterioration of the area.

We kindly request that the Council consider implementing regular street sweeping and the provision of waste bins in Dunster Avenue to improve the appearance of the area and encourage responsible waste disposal.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your prompt response and the necessary actions being taken to address these concerns
