Reported via mobile in the Illegal Crossover category anonymously at 09:09, Sunday 19 January 2025

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1181910-N7P2L5.

Merton have recently put wooden post outside 2b Rougemont Avenue, SM4 5pz to prevent parking on the front garden without a drop kerb. The tenants of 2b continue to park on the front garden. The wooden Post have been damaged. Please can Merton enforce this illegal parking issue before more damage is caused to the footpath and wooden Post and grass verge.

  • It is an offence under Section 184 of the Highways Act 1980 to drive a vehicle across the kerb and pavement (footway) to gain access to a property if a properly constructed dropped kerb is not in place.
