Grass verge dug up and left just mud.

Recently work had been done along Blanchland road ( gas works) where they dug up the grass verge and made a mess and broke paving slabs. They have just put mud down and left it but we had a lovely grass verge there which my husband would always go out and cut the grass and made it look nice . I really don’t think this is acceptable, it looks awful. Please can it be put back to how it was before.
