Found a dead stray cat in our garden

Hi,

We were alerted to a dead cat in our garden by our neighbours tonight, as we were unaware on what to do we called the merton emergency line, and we were told to move the cat to the highway/road so that the council can collect it, we have moved it close to the road/near the bins and its in a white bag.
