No lights around Starbucks leading to Wimbledon Road

Reported via mobile in the Other Street Lighting issue category anonymously at 00:12, Tue 5 August 2025

Sent to Merton Council 12 hours, 54 minutes later. Council ref: SRQ-1241248-T7L5T8.

When you leave Lidl/Starbucks Plough Lane the pavement has no lighting until you get to the top of Wimbledon Road. This is incredibly dangerous as there steps & broken pavements. PLEASE ADD LIGHTING TO THE FLOOR OUTSIDE STARBUCKS & AROUND TO THE SP BUS STOP. The new build flats opposite have the lights on the floor which would be better than darkness as we approached Autumn

  • When leaving Lidl or Starbucks on Plough Lane, the pavement is unlit until reaching the top of Wimbledon Road. This creates a serious safety hazard due to uneven surfaces, steps, and broken paving. We urgently request the installation of lighting along the pavement outside Starbucks and extending towards the Wimbledon Road (SP) bus stop. The newly built flats opposite have ground-level lighting, which would be far safer than the current winter months.
