Round apples on the pavement

There are small round apples on the pavement that create dangerous conditions, I slipped on one yesterday and hurt myself. I swept the pavement but this needs to be addressed by the council as the apples fall on the pavement every day during the season. The tree has also not been maintained in years and it has become too big unnecessarily, increasing the apple volume. My neighbours are very elderly and also expressed their concern over hazardous conditions of the pavement.
