Dead tree branches

Reported via mobile in the Dangerous Street Tree category anonymously at 08:56, Thu 21 August 2025

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1246686-T7G3Z8.

This tree, outside 29 Crossway, has dead branches which have been reported before. My concern is that they will come down in a storm if left potentially damaging property or worse, people. Now is the time to act as it is obvious which branches are dead due to the lack of leaves.

Updates

  • We've asked the relevant service provider to investigate.

  • We are still waiting for these dangerous dead branches to be pruned. Potentially dangerous to pedestrians , property and/or vehicles. Currently it is still easy to see the dead branches but as autumn continues it will become more difficult
