Cracked, uneven pavements

Reported via mobile in the Damaged Footway category anonymously at 19:18, Monday 29 September 2025

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1258091-W7D9M7.

Where houses have been bought and then had extensions built the skips outside have damaged the pavements and have just been left like that. I have a disability which makes it difficult to walk when the pavement is so uneven and I have fallen over several times. The contractors or homeowners should be responsible for repairing the damaged pavement but nothing has been done. I feel the council should have made it clear when the application for the extensions were made that any damage would have to be repaired. If they aren’t going to then Merton council have a responsibility to do it.
