Copse Hill Street lights broken for months

Dear Merton Council,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and disbelief that the street lights on Copse Hill remain unfixed, despite complaints made several months ago.
The lack of functioning street lighting, particularly outside 104 Copse Hill, where the light has been broken for over six months, is not only unacceptable but poses a serious road safety risk to drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists alike. I have attached photos clearly showing the current state of the lights.
It is extremely frustrating that such a basic and essential service has been allowed to fall into disrepair for so long. I find it difficult to understand how these safety concerns continue to be ignored, especially after multiple reports.
Please advise when the necessary repairs will be carried out and what measures the council is taking to ensure issues like this are addressed promptly in future.

A highway officer will inspect the site within 5 working days.
Minor repairs, such as lanterns not working, doors missing, or lanterns staying on during the day, are usually carried out within 3 to 5 working days.
If a fault poses a serious safety risk to the public, we will carry out an emergency repair within 4 hours of the inspection.
If the issue is with the electricity supply, it is the responsibility of UK Power Networks, the distribution network operator for London.Did you know…?

Please be advised that works were unable to be undertaken in July as planned and therefore the columns have now been re-programmed to be undertaken week commencing the 10th November (which will include removing the stumped column, disconnecting the service for the old column and transferring this service to the new column that will be installed).
