This home owner is storing his private bins on the pavement tight outside the entrance to my flat.

Private bins should be stored inside your own property not on the pavement.

I’ve report this before and nothing has been done! Please take action. It’s unsightly and unfair.

    We aim to empty all reported overflowing litter bins within 24 hours. Other issues may take a little longer.

    Merton provides and maintains over 1,000 public street litter bins across the borough. We emptied litter bins over 360,000 times in the year 2024/5, and received only 188 reports of bins overflowing. That's less than one report for every 1000 empties.
