Car Been Abandoned

I am writing to report an abandoned vehicle that has been left in our car park since Wednesday 1st October 2025. The vehicle in question is a silver Skoda, which appears to be untaxed and has not been attended to during this time.
The presence of this vehicle is now causing inconvenience, as it is occupying a valuable parking space that is needed for regular use by residents/visitors.
I kindly request that the Council arrange for the appropriate department to inspect and remove the vehicle as a matter of urgency.
Please confirm receipt of this report and advise on any reference number or further information required to assist with the process.

We will investigate to decide if the vehicle has been abandoned.
If it is abandoned, we will give notice to the owner before we remove it. The length of notice depends on the circumstances, and is normally:
• 7 days for vehicles on the public highway that are not dangerous - this applies to most abandoned vehicles
• 24 hours if we decide the vehicle is dangerous
• 15 days if the vehicle is on private land unless the landowner or occupier objects
