Stake at angle supporting tree
Reported via mobile in the Other Street Tree Problem category anonymously at 17:53, Thursday 9 October 2025
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1260161-G7S2L6.
This stake was removed and then photo taken and then replaced by persons unknown. The reason for this stake is that the last tree which also had a stake at an angle was to stop people parking on the curb to protect the tree . The last tree was knocked down because of people parking close up to it. It has now been repaired and knocked further in to help support and protect tree. I suggest that Merton Council help by putting protection around the trees to stop the kind of thing happening
