Hillside close running up next to 113 Cherrywood Lane- Pavement tarmac cracked with large holes

Reported via mobile in the Damaged Footway category anonymously at 22:02, Sat 11 October 2025

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1260377-Y2C8R2.

This has been a broken since the pavements were redone in 2023. The edging stones that were previously set low were set too high so are now uneven and broken and the tarmac hugely cracked and the installed and unrequired bollards are wonky. This damage is caused for the most part by the bin lorries. Every week they struggle to get up the close and often end up on the pavement edge. The cracks are large and unsafe.
