Holes dug for new trees 3 weeks ago.Holes are left open with no covers.Foxes are digging holes and these are outside disabled parking bays.Still waiting for trees .Very dangerous for both pedestrians and people getting out of cars.Only matter of time before someone trips or breaks their ankles!Urgent covers needed.

Almost a month since these holes were dug.More have been dug.Old and new not boarded over.Foxes continue to dig earth out.Surely this is extremely dangerous for pedestrians and people getting out of cars against pavement. Also for wheelchair users ,disabled people and young children walking along Beckway Road as main route to schools.

Still waiting for the trees. Guy came around yesterday and we thought was going to plant new trees but no.He said he'd been instructed to put more earth in and level up.This morning foxes and cats had dug out the earth again. Have said many times on behalf of my neighbours that a accident is waiting to happen when someone trips over in the dark. How does the council stand on claims? As all the other pits are nearing the same situation.

Had a leaflet shoved through the letter box from Merton council saying the have pledged to 1000 extra trees.in 2025 - 2026.Still waiting to see these as pits were dug in October 2025.As mentioned earlier a number have been dug out by foxes especially where there is a disabled bay. Some even have water in and frozen over due to cold weather. Also in Northborough Road.
