Claremont Avenue has become a nightmare for local residents. It is a rat run and the noise and pollution from vehicles has increased year on year. It needs to become an LTN to stop the constant traffic and restore safety and calm to the area.

    If there is a fault with the road or pavement, a highway officer will visit to inspect the site within five working days. If we decide it’s an emergency we will make it safe within 4 hours following the inspection. If it is not dangerous, we will resolve it within 28 days following the inspection.
