Temporary traffic lights timings wrong and roadworks not cleared

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1262470-Y7S7J3.

The temporary traffic lights on Merton High Street junction with Haydons Road are timed really badly and only let about 5 vehicles through at a time with very long waits in between when nothing is moving. The whole area has been gridlocked for a long time with associated misery for residents and drivers including buses that so many rely on. Moreover the roadworks at that junction are finished and the cones and barriers must be removed and the traffic lights taken away.
