Leaves on Links Road pavement

Reported via mobile in the Litter or Weeds on a Street category by Karen Forrester at 15:10, Tuesday 4 November 2025

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1262624-Z6T0H3.

Walking in Links Road today so many leaves on the pavement either sides. I have already reported that the gullies are getting so full especially by the bollards of house 170 Links Road. Drains cannot take the rain on Friday we had flooding up onto the pavement and towards our front garden. You will need the small cart driven by one person. The road sweeper walks in the middle of the road and he is not clearing the leaves. Only once a week for our road is not enough.

Updates

  • Thank you for reporting litter or weeds on a street.

If litter is widespread, we aim to clear it within 24 hours of your report. It may take longer if we need specialist equipment.
Reports of weeds or leaves will help us to plan our seasonal work. Weeds are normally cleared in spring, summer and early autumn. Leaves are only cleared once they have broken down.
