Large damaged area of road where there were previously sinkholes

Reported via mobile in the Potholes and Surface Problems category anonymously at 11:18, Wednesday 5 November 2025

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1262709-T7F4V8.

When you turn into Cherrywood lane there is a stretch of the road that looks very damaged and sunken. Neighbours have confirmed that this has long been an issue that the council have fixed before by refilling the road in this area and it is prone to sink holes. I’m becoming significantly concerned as the crack in the road is getting worse all the time and recently the road has become very sunken and lopsided making us think it needs to be tended to before the weather deteriorates. Thank you! Robyn
