Request for Inspection and Maintenance of Tree and Pavement Outside 63/65

Reported via desktop in the Dangerous Street Tree category anonymously at 19:25, Sun 30 November 2025

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1265165-R5K6T9.

Dear Merton,

I am writing to request an inspection of the tree located outside my property and my neighbour’s property. I have attached photos to this email for reference. The tree has become overgrown and requires pruning, as it is now obstructing the pavement and making it difficult for pedestrians to pass safely. In addition, the pavement surrounding the tree is uneven and no longer flat, as shown in the attached pictures. This is creating a potential trip hazard. I called earlier today and was advised to send these details by email. I would be grateful if the council could arrange for the tree to be pruned and for the pavement to be assessed and repaired where necessary. Please let me know if any further information is required. Regards,
