Road closed. No access to our driveway
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on a Road or Pavement category anonymously at 18:16, Mon 8 December 2025
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1265956-W4L7W2.
This morning our road in front of our driveway woke up completely closed to vehicle access. We couldn’t take our cars out or in. I had to drive my car over the side walk to reach my house. Then I had to get one of the workers (not doing any work) to help me open an access. Access was closed again and I had to open it myself. That hadn’t done a single thing the whole day. No consultation, no advanced warning. Absolutely and totally unacceptable and entirely illegal. To compound matters, the area is full of useless barriers and abandoned electric bikes, It is a nightmare
