Street broken for over a week

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1266379-M8G5Z6.

Streetlight on uneven number side of the road has not been working for over week and is subsequently very dark. It’s roughly around number 61.

  • Thank you for reporting a problem with a street light.

    A highway officer will inspect the site within 5 working days.
    Minor repairs, such as lanterns not working, doors missing, or lanterns staying on during the day, are usually carried out within 3 to 5 working days.
    If a fault poses a serious safety risk to the public, we will carry out an emergency repair within 4 hours of the inspection.
    If the issue is with the electricity supply, it is the responsibility of UK Power Networks, the distribution network operator for London.
