Parking bay issues

Reported in the Markings category anonymously at 15:49, Tue 16 December 2025

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1266758-W4Y5K4.

The length of the parking bays as you turn into Sheridan Road from Dorset Road.

Since road markings have been changed a dangerous bottleneck has emerged.

When cars turn into Sheridan Road they are confronted with cars on the wrong side of the road, waiting to turn at t he t junction.

This is caused by only one lane of traffic available on a blind turn. Cars end up being face on without anywhere to turn.
