Drain cover loose
Reported via iOS in the Damaged or Missing Gully Grid category anonymously at 13:47, Mon 22 December 2025
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1267225-M5V0K6.
At the junction of Grand Drive and Meadoview Road the Thames water drain cover is loose plus the tarmac looks like is sinking exposing the drain. It makes a metallic noise every time a vehicle goes on top and it’s dangerous to cars but especially bikes as it could damage the wheels and create an accident.

The problem still there. The tarmac around the drain is sinking even more.
