Icy pavements and roads alongside Merton Abbey Primary School

Reported via desktop in the Snow and Ice problems category anonymously at 09:32, Wednesday 7 January 2026

Sent to Merton Council 1 minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1268476-R7G7N4.

The pavements and roads around the school are extremely dangerous. 3 people have fallen this morning on the school run including an elderly lady crossing the road. The weather has been awful and it was raining overnight so why havent the pavements and roads been gritted considering the low temperatures making the rain freeze on the ground. All around South Wimbledon is dangerous so many people sliding on the pavements, its outrageous.
