Thank you for reporting a problem with a street light.
A highway officer will inspect the site within 5 working days.
Minor repairs, such as lanterns not working, doors missing, or lanterns staying on during the day, are usually carried out within 3 to 5 working days.
If a fault poses a serious safety risk to the public, we will carry out an emergency repair within 4 hours of the inspection.
If the issue is with the electricity supply, it is the responsibility of UK Power Networks, the distribution network operator for London.Did you know…?

Merton council continues to monitor reports of flags placed in public spaces. We are paying close attention to any community tensions and are working closely with partners, including the police, to address these. We will, of course, remove anything from public spaces which is offensive or raises safety concerns. This position is regularly kept under review.
