Human faeces Public footpath lower Morden lane to Lower Morden equestrian centre

Reported via mobile in the Dog Fouling category anonymously at 21:13, Saturday 24 January 2026

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1270487-Q1B0R4.

The shared care footpath that runs in between the cemeteries from lower Morden lane to the equestrian centre/Hamptons has huge amounts of obviously human excrement along the wall.

I often run down this path, keeping to the middle. Today I walked my dog and kept to the right with the fence on my right as cars were passing me by, walking out to Lower Morden lane. There are piles and piles of human faeces on the brick wall and floor. Someone or some people are doing this regularly. It is absolutely vile. I hadn't noticed it until today but I lost count of how much there was. Possibly delivery drivers?? It is disgusting. Lots of children cycle and walk up that path to school. It is obviously being used as a toilet regularly and would need signs or something to stop people doing it. Please can the piles of faeces be removed and a deterrent put in place. I've never seen so much in one location.
