Red Peugeot appeared before Christmas - registration plates removed. Unknown owner. Has NOT moved since second week in December. Workmen attempting to park for house renovations are a constant worry. This is a small cul de sac. We ALL can move our vehicles in emergencies.

    If it is abandoned, we will give notice to the owner before we remove it. The length of notice depends on the circumstances, and is normally:

    • 7 days for vehicles on the public highway that are not dangerous - this applies to most abandoned vehicles

    • 24 hours if we decide the vehicle is dangerous

    • 15 days if the vehicle is on private land unless the landowner or occupier objects
