Additional double yellow road markings required outside 70/72 Lansdell Road
Reported via desktop in the Markings category anonymously at 20:31, Wednesday 4 February 2026
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1271815-G0Z0M6.
There is a raised pavement outside of 72 and 70 Lansdell Road where vehicles inconsiderately park causing visibility problems for the two homes listed to manoeuvre from a driveway onto the Public Roadway without casing a possible Road Traffic Collision (RTC).
I have reported this previously without any response and as a ex Blue L:ight employee it is of my opinion that it is only a matter of time before a RTC occurs or road rage incident as the parked vehicle causing an un-necessary restriction in the road which prevents two motor vehicles passing each other during the evening peak.
Please adhere double yellow preventative lines in this area and also the worn ones opposite or ill escalate this genuine concern to my local Member of Parliament
