Street Tree

Reported via desktop in the Other Street Tree Problem category anonymously at 22:52, Wednesday 25 February 2026

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1274261-Y9T5X0.

I have reported this on 13rd March 2025 : As we had recorded of subsidence caused by your pavement tree and had been pollarded every year or max 2 years. This is the 3rd years now and hasn’t been touch. Would you kindly organise as soon as possible. Thank you. Address is 23 Heath Drive SW20 9BE. I had a response on 11th April 2025 from Street Tree dept with the case reference : SRQ-1196480-M9F1K7 Heath Drive, and email : Thank you for report street tree issue. We have included your street in our pollarding list and we are working as best able given the finite resources we have and try to arrange pollarding in this year as much as we can. I emailed the Street Tree dept on 15th Nov 2025 to check any update. It is now 25th Feb 2026, nearly a year now, NO POLLARD at all! Our front garden's block pavement show sign of movement already. In total it has been 4 years this tree has not been pollarded. Hopefully, I will have some response soon, otherwise, I have no choice but have to contact the legal team for advise as this tree has been causing damage to our property.
