Queueing from Stanley Avenue into Blakes Terrace during the current roadworks is blocking the signalised junction at West Barnes Lane due to reduced carriageway width caused by on-street parking

There are extended road works at and around the junction of Blakes Terrace and West Barnes Lane, currently controlled by 3-way temporary traffic signals.
The works area appears to extend towards Stanley Avenue, and queues are now forming from Stanley Avenue into Blakes Terrace. During peak periods, this queueing is backing up and blocking traffic exiting the traffic lights at the junction.
On-street parking along the left-hand side of Blakes Terrace (odd-numbered properties) significantly reduces the available carriageway width. As a result, when vehicles queue, there is insufficient space for opposing traffic to pass safely, causing obstruction and congestion that affects the signalised junction.
This creates a traffic management and road safety concern, particularly at peak hours.
