Illegal crossover and dangerous position
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1274482-M4J7D7.
The illegal crossover means kerb is getting damaged. Footway blocked by resident’s bin as there isn’t space on front garden. Also very dangerous position, almost hitting other vehicles parked in parking places and this car has to reverse into several angles to get the car out. Frankly it is dangerous. It’s also blocking the entranceway to 114b (upstairs flat). This is an unsafe situation due to the garden being at the entrance to garages at the end of a cul de sac and an accident waiting to happen.

Thank you for reporting a problem with a road or pavement.
If there is a fault with the road or pavement, a highway officer will visit to inspect the site within five working days. If we decide it’s an emergency we will make it safe within 4 hours following the inspection. If it is not dangerous, we will resolve it within 28 days following the inspection.

This has been reported before. The car in question prevents larger vehicles accessing the shared garages. This is because the front garden is not paved and has been churned up so the car is parked further back, also blocking the pavement so this also cannot be used. Because the car takes up the whole of the front garden the resident also permanently leaves their bin blocking the pavement. Again this has been reported before.

This has not been resolved and continues to be an issue with larger vehicles trying to access garages. They cannot get through because the resident at 114 takes up the pavement with their car which impedes access to the shared garages.
The vehicle in question is parking on the pavement, over the illegal crossover, not giving enough space for vans to access the entrance to the garages as the car is parked at an angle and on public land (pavement).
Also the illegal crossover means the paving stone is now damaged.
There is also a bin permanently left out on the pavement which means people are having to walk into the road (including a family with a disabled child) which is dangerous.
Several people have reported this now and these reports seem to be ignored for some reason.
