Deadwood clearance by pond oncannon hill common.

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9154898.

This clearance is very welcome, however it could not have been done at a worse time. It beggars belief that Merton chose to do this work in the breeding season. Even the nesting platforms are being pulled out and the noise and disturbance for wildfowl is huge. There is hardly any wildlife left round the pond, probably mostly just the rats. Is there any possible explanation for this being done now and not a couple of months ago. Does nobody understand anything about natural history? Would be interested 5o have a reply.
