Damaged Tree

Reported via desktop in the Damaged Street Tree category anonymously at 16:52, Sunday 5 April 2026

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1278489-V6X8F5.

The cherry tree outside 92 Thurleston Avenue, the branch broke off on 5/4/26 falling partially on my car. This branch was cut up and removed from the road and put on the verge. I have previously reported that this tree was damaged. Now this branch has broken away you can see it has rotted and I believe that due to the angle of the tree, think it is now fundamentally undermined due to the loss of this branch and rot within. This needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency to ensure public safety.
