Cabling trip hazard sticking out of pavement outside
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on a Road or Pavement category anonymously at 17:28, Wednesday 8 April 2026
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1278917-Z1W0P9.
My 6 year old who is a Community Champion wishes to report that there is a cabling loop sticking out of the edge of the pavement outside #19 Thornton Road.
It poses a dangerous trip hazard to the young and the elderly. The wheel of his scooter hit this cabling almost causing an accident.
Please fix this dangerous cabling asap. Thank you.
