Overgrown hedges more than a meter no visibility

Reported via mobile in the Other Street Tree Problem category anonymously at 07:41, Wednesday 6 May 2026

Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9406120.

Hedge at the junction/footpath on Copse Hill has obstructed visibility for years. The hedge is significantly above normal visibility height and drivers exiting the access point must edge into the carriageway before they can safely see approaching traffic. Visibility for pedestrians and cyclists is also affected. Although the road is a 20 mph zone, vehicles often travel faster in practice, increasing the safety risk. Please could Highways assess and take appropriate action.
