Tree outside no 48 and 50 Cavendish Road. Tree roots damaging pavement and sap ruining car paintwork.

This tree is causing a lot of destruction. Its roots are causing multiple pavement slabs to lift outside both properties which is a hazard for pedestrians and those on mobility scooters. The pavement slabs now dip causing flooding when it rains.
It’s roots have also grown under our neighbours house causing serious damage to their property.
The sap it releases every spring is a nightmare, as it covers all the cars that have to park under it and as a result ruins the paint work. Because its branches have grown over onto our private pathways it also drops sap all over our front gardens and causes a lot of mess and destruction.
Its branches are so high they have entangled through the telephone/ internet cables too which is highly dangerous.
This type of tree should never have been selected for our road, it is totally inappropriate. Please remove it and plant a smaller tree that does not grow such long roots.
This issue has been going on for several years now.
