Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1283498-X1B4Q9.

Car has been dumped in the Waitrose car park, permit holders only in bay 1, expired tax since 1/3/19 and expired MOT since 5/6/23.

    If it is abandoned, we will give notice to the owner before we remove it. The length of notice depends on the circumstances, and is normally:

    • 7 days for vehicles on the public highway that are not dangerous - this applies to most abandoned vehicles

    • 24 hours if we decide the vehicle is dangerous

    • 15 days if the vehicle is on private land unless the landowner or occupier objects
