Public footpath to tram in disrepair
Reported via iOS in the Damaged Footway category anonymously at 14:44, Wednesday 27 May 2026
Sent to Merton Council less than a minute later. Council ref: SRQ-1284334-G0M6P5.
Public footpath to tram in disrepair Trees overhang the remaining footpath the grass verge has worn away as the remaining footpath is not accessible due to the trees overhanging. Worn down verge creates ponds of water when wet. No obvious maintenance or improvement has occurred in the past year. If contractors are saying they have fixed issues they have not. The solution is for the path to be repaired similar to the path outside the student development and located away from the trees that are not being maintained or cut back so that the trees do not impact the path.
