I was running and the manhole cover broke and I fell down it

This is very dangerous. It needs to be fixed asap. I put two cones next to it

    If there is a fault with the road or pavement, a highway officer will visit to inspect the site within five working days. If we decide it’s an emergency we will make it safe within 4 hours following the inspection. If it is not dangerous, we will resolve it within 28 days following the inspection.
