Dangerous lack of markings for pedetrian/ bike lane

My first council report, so thanks for reading! Many times on the strip of shared use pavement and cycle lane going west towards David Lloyds and Price George Playing fields, there's a confusion for people between which is the bike Lane and which is the pedestrian Lane and especially with these blind entrances going in and out of Merton Mansions people walk out and are nearly hit by bicycles because they are in the closer pedestrian lane. Low hanging trees in front of David Lloyd over the cycle lane also push cyclists into the pedestrian path. I think a few cycle markings on the cycle lane would do the trick. People are dumb lol. It's been an issue for years. I've seen you are doing carriageway work in July, but not sure what the plans are. The ped crossings on the road are a bit of a sketchy nightmare as well. Frogger situation and a not very protected median. I see an old couple who try to cross everyday and can tell it's quite stressful for them. I've thought about this a lot, so would be happy to chat about and volunteer my time if needed. Thanks much!

Thank you for reporting a problem with a road or pavement.
If there is a fault with the road or pavement, a highway officer will visit to inspect the site within five working days. If we decide it’s an emergency we will make it safe within 4 hours following the inspection. If it is not dangerous, we will resolve it within 28 days following the inspection.
