House at top of Church Hill, Wimbledon SW19 - overhanging vegetation.

There is a house at the top of Church Hill (photo supplied) that has neither a name nor a number. The garden looks to be untended and one of the shrubs is overhanging the pavement. There is insufficient space for two pedestrians to pass, resulting in one of them having to walk in the roadway. This is dangerous, as cars drive down St Mary’s Road and turn into Church Hill in excess of 20mph.

    If plants or trees on private land are blocking the street, we’ll ask the owner to cut them back. If they don’t do this within 28 days, we’ll write to them again giving them 14 days further notice and if action is still not taken we will arrange for the work to be done at the owner's expense.
